Hey guys. As the title already suggests, this post will be about a simple ocean themed nail art tutorial. It’s very summery, it’s very beachy and it’s very easy. So let’s just “dive” in! :p *pun intended* 😀
Things I used:
-Bundle Monster jelly stamper
-Bundle Monster Scraper
-Bundle Monster plate number BM-XL211
-a few star fish shaped nail accessories (these are easily available and come without any brand name)
-a few rhinestones (which I painted blue and gold with nail colors, but you can buy the actual colors too.)
Polishes I used:
-Clazona 273 (metallic gold)
-Clazona glitter nail color in light blue #9
-Golden Rose in light blue
-Always start with a transparent lacquer as the base so your nails never stain.
-Apply all the specific nail colors as in the picture and let them all dry
-For stamping on the index fingernail, choose the design as in the macro picture. Use clazona 273 on it, scrape it away and then stamp the design via the jelly stamper on to your index fingernail.
-Glue the rhinestones and the accessories on the other nails. You can also use the top coat lacquer as glue for the rhinestones.
-Use a top coat to set the design in place. It will hold the design in place for a longer duration.
Make sure you clean the stamping plate as soon as you are done with any nail polish remover. So you can reuse it without a fuss the next time.
This was one of those designs of mine that actually got recognized internationally by the “nailit” magazine. Link below:
It is perfect for this summer season so make sure you give it a try and wow everyone around you with your phenomenal nail art. 🙂
