Hello people! How’re y’all? I’ve been busy these past few days so I wasn’t able to post any new DIY. Sorry about that. But as soon as I got the time I dug into my scrap hoard and emerged with another easy, peasy, fun and easy DIY. Yes that’s right. And as always if you’re a crafter you’ll find most of the stuff used in it lying around your house so it’ll be almost costless for you. Without further ado, let’s get right into it.
- 5” long and 0.5” wide paper strips of different colors (4 of each color)
- Paper Cutter
- Cutting Board
- UHU or any other adhesive like Adx White Craft Glue
- String, Jute, Twine or any other thread for hanging the garland
- Nails (if you want to hang it for a long time)
- Fairy lights (optional)
I don’t want to keep them hanging for a long time so I used scotch tape to tape them to my wall.
Step by Step Guide:
Step #1 – Take a paper of your desired color and mark four points after 0.5 inches.
Step #2 – Cut four 11.5” long and 0.5” wide strips from a paper of your desired color.
Step #3 – Place one strip on the surface and put a glue drop in its mid and then place the second strip in such a way that an “x” is formed.
Step #4 – Put glue in the mid of the cross and place the third strip on it vertically.
Step #5 – Put glue again in the mid and place the fourth strip in such a way that an asterisk symbol “*” is formed.
Step #6 – Take one side of strip and put some glue on its edge. Now taking the other half of the strip join them together.
Step #7 – Repeat the step for the remaining strips.
Step #8 – Voila! It’s ready. Make as many as you want in as many colors as you can.
Step #9 – Now pass them all one by one through a string. Then pass the fairy lights through them and hang them on your wall.
