Hi y’all! I am back with another blog post today! Today, I wanted to write about body positivity and how important it is to love yourself with all your flaws.
Some of us have our exams coming up in a few days, so I decided to do a blog post regarding studies for today. Okay let’s be real, most of us get our motivation by articles like these or videos like these. Whenever I don’t feel like studying, and I have to study, I go to google and google some study tips, or I go on YouTube to watch videos. Here’s a list of some study tips that work for me and trust me, by following these tips I’ve improved so much.
Okay so most of us think of ourselves as geniuses, and we think that we can always cover the whole syllabus in a day or two. Trust me, that’s not how it works. You have to put in your time and effort to get good grades. Start studying early so you can revise at the last minute. Study for an hour or two every day but never keep anything for the last minute. I always regret doing this.
Most of us don’t do this, but when you note down your lectures in class, it helps so much in revising all the important stuff. I always do this, and it helps me so much in surprise quizzes. Write down whatever you feel like is important and then always make sure that when you go home, you go through that lecture. That way it’ll be easier for you to learn things. Also, this is fun.
By drawing diagrams and flow charts, you can understand the concept much better and that way it always stays in your mind. Also, draw mind maps or flow charts if you want to. And use colourful pens for this. That makes it so much fun to learn, trust me.
This method definitely works for me. Before you start learning, explain it to yourself numerous times. After the concept is clear to you, you can also teach it to your friends. That way, the things you learn won’t slip your mind.
Never study for hours and hours. The best way to study is by taking breaks. That way your mind stays fresh and grasps things more effectively. Study for 30 minutes and then take a 10-minute break or a 5-minute break. In that time, you can do whatever you want to. I usually get fresh and watch YouTube videos. Because why not? Everybody loves YouTube, right?
While studying, keep a bottle of water near you and make sure that you stay hydrated. Being hydrated helps to stay fresh and not get lazy. Whenever I start feeling sleepy, I take a sip of chilled water. It helps me a lot.
Let’s be real, some of us decide that if we don’t sleep, we’ll have more time to study. Or some of us don’t sleep because we’re stressed. Trust me; sleep is an essential for all of us. We need sleep to make sure our mind gets its rest.
One of my friends told me this tip. Memorising works the best honestly. Memorise what you have to learn and write it three times and trust me, what you’ve memorised will always stay in your upper chamber.
