AN EMPTY STOMACH
Breakfast is one of the most important meal of the day and people usually skips it as they don’t give it much importance but it is very important for our energetic start. It is said that “Eat your breakfast like a King”. If we don’t eat our breakfast properly, our body can’t work properly. So here are some foods you should eat and avoid on an empty stomach.
SWEETS: Eating sugar on an empty stomach boosts insulin level which in turn increases the load on pancreas that has just “woken up”. This may lead to diabetes.
YOGURT AND OTHER MILK PRODUCTS: Eating such products for breakfast has little benefit for your body as hydrochloric acid in it kills the lactic acid bacteria.
BANANAS: Bananas can lead to a sharp increase in the amount of magnesium in the blood. This may harm your heart.
COLD DRINKS: Drinking beverages in the morning can damage your mucous membranes and reduce the blood supply to the stomach. As a result, your food digests more slowly.
SPICES: Spicy food can cause many common disorders of the digestive system.
EGGS: Eggs are the most favorite food of people especially children. In a recent research, it was found that eating eggs can cut your daily calorie intake significantly. So eat as many eggs as u want 😉
WATERMELON: Eating watermelon on an empty stomach provides you with a good amount of fluid as it contains 98% water. Also it is good for the health of our eyes and heart.
WHOLE GRAIN BREAD: Carbs and other useful nutrients found in bread are necessary for your body.
HONEY: Honey helps to awaken your body in the morning and provide strength and energy to your system.
OATMEAL: Oatmeal contains soluble fiber which is beneficial in lowering cholesterol level in your body.
